FAQs

1. What can I expect at my first spray tan appointment? We offer two types of customizable formulas, so we will ask what you have planned for the rest of the day and when you will be rinsing. This will determine which solution will be best for you. To choose a color, we will look at the undertones in your skin to determine if you are cool-toned, warm-toned, or neutral. Then you will undress and we will guide you through positioning. A full tan appointment requires less than 20 minutes.

2. What should I wear to the appointment? We recommend dark, loose-fitting clothing and sandals or flip-flops. Some clients wear a bikini top & bottom to be sprayed in, others get sprayed naked or with no bra on. You will be asked to remove your jewelry. We have hair ties, plastic caps to protect your hair, disposable bikini thongs, and baby wipes to remove deodorant.

3. How should I prepare my skin? Complete all shaving, exfoliating, and waxing prior to your appointment. Come without body lotions, oils, makeup, or deodorant.

4. What happens after the tan? After the tan, you’ll need to avoid tight clothing, sweating, exercising, swimming, or doing dishes before you rinse. In your first shower, you’ll need to avoid soap and shampoos. You will see some pigment rinsing off your skin. After the first rinse you are cleared to go back to your normal routine. Remember, the tan is still developing for 24 hours.
